Baby "Oscar" Arrives!!

We are so excited to announce the arrival of Baby "Oscar" - aka. Aaron Grant Dow, born on August 20, 2012. So, no more Oscar, but we all love baby Aaron and his official, new name. He is now a week old and is doing just great. Jill loves being a new mom and snuggling with her baby - that is, when she gets a chance. Steve has turned into a little bit of a "baby hog" since Aaron came on the scene. :-)

The Birth Story (minus any gratuitous details): To put it simply, Jill got to experience one of the less-painful processes of having a baby. At 37 weeks, Aaron rotated into a breech position and remained there, perfectly happy. At 38 weeks, the doctors attempted to turn him back around, but he wasn't budging. So a c-section was scheduled for the next week. On August 20th at 9:27am, Jill delivered (with the help of the doctors and a little incision) 8 lb. 21" long Aaron - all rosy and round and healthy.
