It's a beautiful day in the Sisterhood, a beautiful day for a sister ...

For those of you who have a sister, are a sister, or wish you had a sister (at some point in your life), welcome to the Sisterhood! You might be wondering what this is all about - and I wish I could tell you. But this blog will probably, more or less, morph into its own explanation. However, I’ll give just a quick overview and hopefully tempt you into checking back here again and again.

We are a group of 5 sisters (and sisters-in-law) who enjoy various hobbies and pastimes, live all over the country, and love nothing more than when we can all get together again and laugh at our husbands’ jokes and kids’ antics. All of us are married, some of us have kids, and not one of us has ever successfully maintained a blog before. But here we are, hoping that, by having five of us at this, we can not only keep regular posts coming, but also share with our friends the things that we love and are learning. We are all growing Christians, and I can definitely say that, while we are each unique in our interests and hobbies, we are of one mind in our love for family and our devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So sometimes, you might read about something that we are learning personally and on a spiritual level. Sometimes we’ll share a favorite recipe or craft that has inspired us to break out of our routine. One of us might share a Bible study idea while another shares a great “Family Fun on a Budget” idea. We also have some special guests that we’d love to introduce to you at some point. So for now, just keep reading, and know that you are always welcome in The Sisterhood!
